Great Western Air Ambulance Charity Portishead Shop Opening

Join us for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity's latest shop opening!

On Tuesday 8 April at 9:00 am, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) will be opening the doors to its first shop within North Somerset in the heart of Portishead. The new shop will be GWAAC’s twelfth to operate within its wider region.

GWAAC is inviting local shoppers to visit the new shop, meet the team and grab a bargain. To celebrate the opening of the shop, GWAAC will be offering a promotion whereby you receive the cheapest item for free when you purchase four or more products.

Join our friendly new shop team and make a lifesaving difference in your community!

Your volunteering will play a vital role in generating charity income and raising the profile of our work in our local communities!

Begin Writing's Coffee, Cake and Creative Writing

Starts: 11:00 On 08 April 2025 | Ends: 12:30 On 08 April 2025

These monthly creative writing workshops are perfect for anyone who can't commit to weekly sessions, but would like some time for reflection, to create a new story or poem and meet other like-minded, friendly people over cakes. These workshops are £12 and places must be booked beforehand, so please get in touch if you'd like to join a session.

Birnbeck Pier

Ever fancied trying a sport that is fun and is for ALL AGES and ABILITIES? Bowls helps to improve fitness and mental wellbeing.

The Open Day is a chance for you, your family and friends to have ago. The club's coaches and volunteers will be on hand to help you and equipment will be provided. The event is free. Refreshments will be provided and car parking is free.
